On Offering Criticism

This would be very useful to quickly read before going into your discussions with your UNLV counterparts at next week's collaboration:

How To Receive and Give Criticism by Scott Berkun

Remember that you are there to offer as much assistance as possible to help the UNLV students:
-improve their conceptual approach
-best communicate their ideas (graphically/verbally)
-understand tectonics
-understand the value of refinement/detail

You will be evaluated by the students on your constructive criticism and we will be evaluated based upon the students' final submissions for their project.  Criticism is not meant to be malicious. You are all senior students with a great deal of knowledge and insights that could help these students.  In turn, there is much we all can learn about construction within that context from your UNLV colleagues.

The compiled PDF of the students' work is available on Blackboard for those who wish to clarify their students' submission information.
